Owlo on Hisense and Toshiba (VIDAA)

VIDAA is the system on Hisense TVs and many Toshiba ones. It’s the platform we test Owlo on the most.

Opening Owlo

1. Press the home button on the remote and open the Browser app (on some models, inside “Apps”).
2. Type https://tv.owlo.app in the address bar. You only type it this once.
3. Save it to the browser’s favourites to open it later in a couple of clicks.
4. Scan the QR code with your phone and confirm in your account.

Good to know

• The remote works as usual: arrows, OK and Back. Number keys change channel in live TV.
• Some models can’t decode HEVC video in the browser. If so, Owlo shows “format not supported”.
• An Owlo app in the VIDAA store will come later. Meanwhile the browser gives the same experience.
