Delete your Owlo account

You can delete your Owlo account and all its data at any time, for free, from the Owlo app, from the website or by email. You don’t need to have the app installed.

From the Owlo app

Open Owlo on your phone or tablet.
Go to My Space › Delete account.
Confirm. If your account has a password, the app asks for it.

From the website

Open owlo.app/cuenta and sign in.
At the bottom of your account, choose Delete my account and confirm.

By email

If you can’t sign in, write to support@owlo.app from the address of your account and ask us to delete it. We reply within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account: email address, password hash, Google or Apple sign-in and two-step verification.
Your lists and their credentials, your profiles, favourites, recently watched and progress.
Your linked TVs and app sessions, which stop working straight away.

It is removed from our database immediately and from encrypted backups within 30 days. Error reports, which don’t identify your account, are deleted after 30 days, and server logs after 30 days at most. We only keep what the law requires us to keep.

Pause instead of deleting

If you only want to stop for a while, you can pause your account from the same place: your TVs stop playing and everything is kept until you resume it.
